I trying my hand into building an attack spell minded FVS. I am completely new to the caster type, used to melee character. I did some research on the forums here and some other places. This is what I came up with. Please feel free to offer any kind of feedback you may have. Like I said I am new, be honest, but be gentle, I am a little squishy.

From a feats/enhancement point of view, it looks fine. The DC for spells are based off of wisdom, so you will want to put your level ups in wisdom rather than charisma. You may want to look at the "Evoker" bulid that Impaqt has posted, and just switch out the Spell Pen feats for the Evocation focus feats.

Wisdom before charisma, always and everywhere. All level ups into wisdom. Wisdom before charisma for your human stat enhancements. As a human, you should really think about a base cha of 12 +3 tome, +3 class enhancements +1 race enhancement=9th level disjunct proof casting. 14 isn't horrible, especially if you don't want to commit to the +3 tome, but think about it.

If you did that and dropped your con to 14, you could up your strength to 14 which would make some parts of life easier. Especially early in the game and spots later where you have to melee. However the con is also a safe bet.

Feats look fine for what you are doing.

Yeah I would definately boost your strength up some, at low lvls you will find yourself meleeing alot...it's just more efficient. I have attempted to make a caster FvS several times, but lvling as a caster seems really slow. I hear BB makes the world all better though. SO I went to the other end of the spectrum and made a melee heavy FvS, with the intention on LRing him at lvl 12 into a caster...so I kinda get the best of both worlds. Either way, your build looks good, though I would bump strength up at least to prevent getting enfeebled to 0.

Just so I am understanding what you all have wrote. Take Con to 14,Chr to 12 and put the left over 4 points into Str. Seems reasonable. Thank you all.

I wouldn't plan to do LR while you are leveling. One, it usually isn't necessary, and Two, it's rather expensive for little benefit.

LR is expensive to plan for before you know you love the character and feel you need it that stats to be optimized for epic/endgame content. I didn't find leveling up an untwinked evoker build with starting 12 strength all that hard. 8 str can be a little rough. I agree that you won't miss the 14 versus 16 con for most content in the game.

Disjunction is a relatively rare event which can be planned for, and you have a spell that you can cast (eagle's splendor if and when it happens as long as your charisma doesn't drop below 12.) You could consider LR if you ever get to that point as well, since it is pretty close to end-game.. Honestly it doesn't make that much of a difference early on.

Just my opinion.
