Hello there,

I have started the game on Orien in December. My first character is on 20 now and I am facing a huge problem... This server doesnt seem to have nearly as many players as other servers...wich would be a thing I wouldnt complain about if I would still easily get groups for all the quests there...Due to the lack of players most people only do a few of the "must have farmed that shizzel" quests and for things like Reavers Reach or the Necrop pre/raid or others it is impossible to get parties if youre not in 1 of the 2 "big" guilds of that server.

Another problem with the low population is that people tend to MASSIVELY overprice things on Auction...1 Tome of Legends page 7 million gold? What? 1 Vial of Pure water 150.000 Gold...what???? White Dragon Helm 10 million..huh????? Or a shabby stupid ring with greater false life for 2.5 million gold... 500K-1KK for 1 GH Dragonscale?

Not to forget that there is NONE of the usual items I tend to find on the other servers...wich I checked since I farmed quite some ddo points on all servers...neither party nor AH is that bad on all other servers.

To fix this I ask for a simple thing..I dont even want a merge..why dont you simply "advertise" for new players?...Make a few events for servers with too low population...Drops raised by 2...XP events to stock up on players...this should bring and keep quite a few to us wich we need because right I dont see a too big number of highlevel players on my oh so beloved server and I hope there can be something done about this.

Best regards from a worried and sad carebear,
Shehe~

I spoke with one person who plays on your server and it sounds like Orien just needs time. He said that players are still working on farming ingredients in the shroud and the like and acquiring gear. Eventually there will be people playing all the quests/raids e.g. the Tower raid. As time goes on players will join your server. It is after all virtually lag free I would guess. Just keep playing and have faith after all the server I play on was actually full at times last night and people had trouble logging on which is a sure sign for some of the players to check out somewhere else.

Gotta agree with matt. Its not that it has a low population. Its that it has a low End game Population.

THe rest of the servers (Sans Cannith) have had nearly 4 years of time to cap characters. Orion is going on 4 months. THats a tremendous difference in potential end game players.

If you wanted to powergame, Orien was a poor choice.

I just want to reiterate my point. The person I spoke with is a friend of mine who leads shrouds and the like on Orion. He just got his tier two weapons. I asked him the other day about the state of things on Orion and he said that it is a work in progress, but to give it time. The person in question is one of the more respected people on my home server and is somebody who gets things done. That Orion has attracted people like him speaks to a positive future for the server.

I do not want to powergame...I just want to be able to play any of the quests that are in the game without the need to be in that one of the 2 bigger guilds on that server (kind of) But I guess since its a new server its true that it will need time...but I still see the economy heavily damaged right now and hope this will be fixed by more and more people that get up to the higher levels =/
