View Full Version : Stop locking the alignment for "auto-paths"

In response to a question on this thread (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=226449) (specifically post #9 (http://forums.ddo.com/showpost.php?p=2705686&postcount=9) and #12 (http://forums.ddo.com/showpost.php?p=2705744&postcount=12)), I've documented what seems to be an irritating gripe about the character creation process, in which its possible to lock out the option to choose one's alignment. I've concluded that the simplest solution is simply remove the lock entirely, in which regardless of whether one rolls a toon on a auto-path, or creates one with a custom allocation in mind, the option to choose one's alignment is always present.

Considering alignment has very little effect on a character, aside from alignment restrictions on certain classes, the pre-set locked-in alignment seems rather pointless and can be frustrating, especially in situations such as yours (read your other thread about this) where you "select" a path to get the outline of the character, and then go back and customize.
