View Full Version : DDO store stat potion stacking question

A major complaint of mine is that there is little to no documentation with regards to stacking issues. Most new players aren't going to know that Bull's Str will not give you +4 str if you have worn item of +2 strength.

So, being a new player, and quickly learning most things don't stack; do the stat potions from the DDO store stack with worn items or spell buffs?

Thanks!!!

Anything and everything you would like to know about the base DnD rules that we use can be found here. (http://www.d20srd.org/) As a rule of thumb bonuses of the same type typically do not stack unless stated otherwise..

To directly answer your question: yes the potions stack with items/spells etc.

IMHO they aren't really worth the turbine points, but that's just my opinion.

Yes, the Store Potions do stack with everything.....

even with the Yugoloth Potions you can get very late in the game.

The issue is many things don't tell us what type of bonus they give so there is little way to know if they will stack.

Haste and some alacrity bonuses come to mind.

Those are bugs. (http://forums.ddo.com/new_bug.php)

Haste doesn't stack with alacrity bonuses, feat and enhancement speed bonuses always stack with item/spell/store bonuses.

Should I send you a bug report with this link (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=179128) in it? ;)

If it isn't on the actual item description, the DDO store description for those types of store-only potions definitely mentions that they will stack with other similar buffs.

And where could we find the official written documentation about the rules you choose not to follow or deviate from?
