View Full Version : Festivult Rewards List

This is from my notes, for all my fellow adventurers on Cannith.

When you turn in the festivult coins you have a chance to get a random magic goodie. There is an extremely small chance that you will get a permanent magic item of some serious value (like a magic sword or Tome), but usually you get a cake or cookie. These are like potions, in that you consume them and they are gone when their timer runs out.

Here is what each cake/cookie does, so you can compare their worth to you. (I'm trying to get them to all line up neatly, forgive me if the formatting looks strange).

Three (3) Copper Festival Coins will give you one (1) chance to get:

A Fernia, the Sea of Fire Jelly Cake------- Scorching Ray, 3 rays @ 4d6 each
An Irian, the Eternal Day Jelly Cake------ Searing Light, 2d8 (5d6 vs Undead)
A Lamannia, Twilight Forest Jelly Cake---- Regrowth, 100 HP healing over 2 mins
A Mabar, the Endless Night Jelly Cake---- Enervation, 1d4 negative levels
A Risia, the Plane of Ice Jelly cake------- Snowball Swarm, 2d6
A Shavarath, Battleground Jelly Cake----- Heroism, +2 to attack saves skills, 10 mins
A Syrania, the Azure Sky Jelly Cake------ Jump +30, 15 mins
A Thelanis, the Faerie Court Jelly Cake--- Good Hope, +2 buff to everything 15th level
A Storm Reaver Gingerbread Cookie------ Electric Loop, 15th level (5d6)
A Cupcake------------------------ Cure Light Wounds (all races) 1d8+1
A Lump of Coal-------------------- junk, minimal sale value
A Sunflask ------------------------ rumored to be good vs Oozes and Undead (?)
A Festival Twig-------------------- junk, worthless and doesn't stack

Two (2) Silver Festival Coins will give you one (1) chance to get:

A Daanvi, the perfect Order Jelly cake--------- Defender of Law, 5 min summons
A Dal Quor, Region of Dreams Jelly Cake-------- Wondrous Power (random) junk
A Dolurrh, Realm of the Dead Jelly Cake--------- Death Ward, 10 mins
A Kythri, the Churning Chaos Jelly Cake-------- Hound of Chaos, 5 min summons
A Velah, Red Dragon Gingerbread Cookie------- Fire Shield, 15th level, 1.5 mins
A Queen Lailat, Marilith Gingerbread Cookie----- Blade Barrier, 15d6
A Beholder Gingerbread Cookie----------------- Disintegrate, 20d6 (5d6 on save)
A Warforged Titan Gingerbread Cookie---------- Strength +6 (psionic bonus)
A Black Abbot Gingerbread Cookie-------------- Stoneskin, 15th level
An Arraetrikos, Pit Fiend Gingerbread Cookie---- Meteor Swarm, 6d6 (save ½) + 2d6 (no save)
A Suulomades, Horned Devil Gingerbread Cookie----- Freedom of Movement, 15 mins

One (1) Gold Festival Coin will give you one (1) chance to get:

A Xyzzy, the Hound of Xoriat Cookie----------- Bee Breath (?) junk I think
A Xoriat, Realm of Madness Jelly Cake---------- Otto's Sphere of Dancing, 10th level
A Hezrou Gingerbread Cookie------------------ Infernal Power, 1 minute
A Succubus Gingerbread Cookie---------------- Dominate Monster, 10th level

Hope this helps you when you are seeing these coins for sale/buying, or the cakes/cookies...

To add some more information:

Every turn-in of copper and silver coins has a chance to be improved. This means that it is possible to get a gold coin reward for two silver coins, a silver reward for copper, or even a gold reward for copper. The chances are VERY slim though.

Also, gold rewards include +2 tomes and a weapon named Sunblade (http://compendium.ddo.com/wiki/Weapon:Sun_Blade). These are very rare so don't expect to get one (I did not get any from turning in about 60 gold coins).

Received a dwarven thrower the other day

A Sunflask ------------------------ rumored to be good vs Oozes and Undead (?)

These do a LOT of damage vs undead, usually one-shotting skellies on deleras for example. They are however a thrown weapon, so having some dexterity and to-hit is useful.
