Well I decided to plan out a pure human paladin and here he is. I picked bastard sword over khopesh just to be different and I did not plan for tome enhancements as of yet do to being usure when and if they will drop for me

i wouldn't worry about the turning feats it's pretty meh. luck of heroes as well not really needed as pally's have excellent saves. same with iron will. how ever since your not going twf or thf i guess you have some feats to burn.

extend it a better feat to take. Hint extended zeals are nutricious :D

khopesh> bs that is why peeps take it

wisdom does not need to start at 12 unless you really want it to, so a few build point there to put elswhere is you need.

all levels into str get cha as high as you can for better loh and smites

not bad overall just a few suggestions for you.

when you plan a build decide what you want to do and work it out.

Your starting stats look ok. You can definitely take down Wis to 10 (or even 8) unless you are willing to never use a wisdom item. You could then bump Cha to 15 or 16.

Your feat choice is terrible though. With this kind of stats you are looking to be a two-handed DPS build. If you have something else in mind then tell us what you expect from this build, because you may need different stats. Anyway, with this idea feats would look like:
L1 toughness + two-handed fighting
L3 power attack
L6 improved thf
L9 improved crit: slash
L12 greater thf
L15 extend spell
L18 something else, nothing absolutely mandatory here, you pick :)

To expend on why your original feat choice is wrong:
- bastard sword = sword & board; you do not seem to want a high AC tank since you didn't go for Combat Expertise and Intimidate (oh btw, get rid of the heal skill, dump your extra skill points into UMD instead), so you don't want sword & board (whose damage output gets horrible past the mid levels)
- luck of heroes => paladins get great saves without that one
- discipline => you won't have to do many concentration checks, and should not have trouble with will saves either
- improved turning => you'll very rarely use turn undead
- iron will => no need, your will saves are fine
- empower healing spell => not necessarily useless, but it's more a convenience feat for a paladin, that shouldn't be a priority

Thanks for all your advice I will probably go the thf route. And be a pally with a big freaking sword.
