I know he doesn't seem to have much HP, but probably makes up for it with saves, evasion, high AC and shield tanking.

Oh yes, aggro generation is via intimidate, zero DPS :P

technicalities first. the first class you take determines how many bonus skill points you get, which is 4 times the regular amount. 4 times a paly's skills isnt much, 4 times a rogues skills it tons! so make rogue your first level, means you'll be able to drop a few points into tumble just to unlock the ability, even if you never put points into it again.

swim isnt of much use, neither is concentration. infact it might be worth dropping every thing but intimi and getting UMD too.

also instead of improved shield bash get the shield DR feats. you can drop mental toughness too, items will give you far more spell points than that feat can. your also missing a feat at lvl12

i am worried that your going to find this char to be a squishy drow that can't hold its own in a fight. magic and traps should not pose a threat. however in the later game, say lvl10+ and when you hit gianthold, the AC needed for a solid tank goes through the roof. its not until much later that you can get all the gear together to plug the gaps in your AC and start tanking again. during that period of transition your going to feel the lack of HP and the lack of STR more than ever. sure you can come out of it in the end, but i'm worried you'll stop having fun before you get there. at least my squishies could do something other than tank, be it DPS or other tricks. this drow however can't do the DPS with the low STR. getting UMD will give you a nice trick when it gets high enough to use heal scrolls and raise dead scrolls, and you'll be milking that when you finally plug the AC hole and start to become the last man standing.

sorry about that, but AC builds need a lot of grinding as the AC needed to tank is balanced for the power gamers not the casual gamers. thats fine, even a casual player can eventually gather all the gear, you just need to be aware that for a long period of time your tank won't be solid. it should still be useful, just not water tight.

Your build is not casual-player friendly, quite the contrary in fact.

I agree as well. And you're unlikey to be able to reach a high enough AC at high level with this build.
