I've been following some of these discussions on True Reincarnation and I have to say the idea is awesome (since I suggested something similar on the wow-forums 4 years ago, when I first got bored with lack of content at lev 60, I really do think the idea is awesome :) ).

I'm psyched about upgrading my 12/7/1 Mage/Nun/Thief-cyborg build to a 34 point wunderkind, since wisdom is one of my dumpstats for the build, this will be a huge boost for me.

However, the 2nd TR isn't really that exciting at this point, which is a shame (were it up to me, there would be no limit to TR's, where each would grant 2 statpoints and an icecream, oh well, no never ending story).

Could I humbly propose that you made one small (insignificant really) boost to the 2nd TR.

* Change the 2nd TR's level cap to 21.

That would grant a few hp, sp and ki, 4 ap and oh yeah ... one ... extra ... feat ... (Sir, the nerds rampaging, something has them in a frenzy.)

Small change but I would definately go all the way for the feat (is feat-loving a fetish?).

I wont touch the subject of past life feats much, since that horse is being well taken care of in the other threads. But my comment is, they are mostly not worth it, certainly not in the multi builds I'm looking at.

If I should rank the components the go into planning a build on value:

1 - Feats
2 - Class levels
3 - Ability Scores
4 - Enhancements
5 - Skill Points (low int. builds would treasure these more)

The past life feats as they are would be fine...if they were free. I saw a moderator comment that they were considering making the past life feats work as prereq's for prestige classes.
That would be very cool, I imagine planning a build for the 2nd TR, going through a dominating mage build in one of the incarnations to get the past life prereq feat for a future arcane archer.

Thats it,
feat-lover out...

Level 21 would involve making some additions to the game for epic characters with epic feats, epic spells and so forth. Would be cool, but I think it will be a while before we see that in the game.

...and massive imbalance.

Take build foo, add either a level of monk, rogue or something else if you already have monk+rogue.

Fighter20 vs Fighter20/monk1
Monk20 vs Monk20/rogue1
etc...
18x/2 monk|rogue vs 18x/monk2/1rogue
etc...

This gave me a chub. And i can guarantee it wont happen. For the time it would take to achieve and the new epic content available i do not believe its overpowered but, some may have a different argument that usually starts with "I'm lazy and don't have enough time" or "I don't feel like people who are more dedicated to achieving things in this game should be better than me". I laugh because what i have achieved in this game... (and thats a whole lot) was done with just 5-10 hours a week.

I'm no power gamer, but im really good at pretending.

if 21 wasthe new cap i would def make some capstone chars with a rog or monk splash, that could be very fun. or even a 20 barb 1 fighter for 2 extra feats and barb capstone!
