1.
Which weapon seems better for a STR build TWF character: scimitar or rapier? I mean, their stats are almost the same, but any of these have more magical options to choose from at higher levels? And what about AH prices/availability?

2.
Oversized TWF really worth a feat? I mean, using two rapiers/scimitars is really better than just staying with, say, rapier+shortsword?

the rapier gets the vote due to effects like banishing being unavailable to slashing weapons. and also there just seem to be more of them out there. the only weapon effect exclusive to slashing is vorpal.. need a 20 regardless of crit range for that.

as far as oversized fighting. take it early then swap it out later. the increased crit range the scimi's and rapiers is worth it on a toon out to deal death. and the bab will be high enough later to ignore a -2 penalty.

The advantages of scimitar:
1. Corresponds to slashing weapons, meaning feats spent on it will also help you use khopesh, falchion, or greataxe.
2. Corresponds to falchion bonuses for elves.
