If you really have to have a clock on the computer set the display to Windowed mode. Will let you have access to your Windows Task bar.

Alternately you could try buying a clock. Or set an alarm when you need to be some where...You know, grow up and take some responsibility for yourself?

You know that games with clocks usually require you to type something to access the clock right? Like in DDO it would be /showtime. How much easier is it to have a clock on your computer's desk?

Some lucky uber rich people also have these miniature time pieces on their wrist. Its a new-fangled invention called a watch. Might be too expensive for you though as you may have to shell out the 3$ for the cereal box it comes in.

Please, insert a clock in-game with configurable alarm (like wow).

I thought that was what cell phones were for?

Even my half-junky one has alarms and a timer on it, and shows the time on the face. Sits next to my keyboard so I don't have to look up at the clock on the wall if I'm feeling lazy. :)

Umm... Wow, not sure why people are being so sarcastic in regards to this suggestion. Is the clock necessary? No. Would it be nice? Yes, and oddly enough for me the reason for this is so I don't have to run my game in window mode. Have you ever clicked off your window in the middle of a fight? Man, is that inconvenient. I doubt adding a clock would be all that time consuming.

For what it is worth.

There is a command for showing server time, I think it's just /servertime. If you are in the eastern timezone then it would be your local time.

There's also a /gametime (unless I'm thinking of LOTRO) that shows how many hours you've been playing your character since level 1, if you want to see how much time you've spent in game. I tend to ignore that feature, lol.

I think they're being sarcastic because the OP is blaming his tardiness on DDO not having a clock, not his suggestion that the game should have one.

Where I live there was recent legislation that required all video lottery terminals to give warnings at preset times (15 minutes, 1/2 hour, and 1 hour I believe). The concept was to promote healty gambling because people tended to lose themselves in front of the machines. With the time warnings they believe people will have fewer addiction problems related to VLTs.

Ever notice that there aren't any clocks in a casino? I worked in one for 13 years so I'm well aware of that fact. ;)

BTW I have the best alarm clock possible. She comes in after I've been online a little too long and informs me that the divorce papers are just a signature away if I don't log off RIGHT NOW!

Guild Wars has those warnings too, annoying as Tartarus.

I take off my watch and put it on desk next to laptop to keep track of time.
