I: Introduction:
Hello folks
I will be listing all the new and changed items that can be found on Lamannia for the Unlimited Update 1 (Dreaming Dark). For all the new players out that are new to our game please keep in mind that there will be many more items that you will find that won't be listed here; as they are already in the Current Live game and can be found here (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=121279).

II: Unique Boss mob/chest loot.This section catalogs all items that can be found in specific chests within certain quests or areas. Please remember that not all chests are always there and that the items are not 100% spawn. All items listed can usually be found in the end chest unless otherwise noted in the description.

Three more dream edges, with shattermantle, disruption, and ghostly as the changing property. Can provide screenshots if you want them. It may be better to just mark the items as having a randomly changing property and listing what has been found so far instead of trying to list every variation.

Also have a Rahl's might with bleed.

Altho the handwraps have pure good - they don't display any requirements to actually have to be good to use them.. So I'd imagine your monk can use them just fine.

you need 4 disks (3 shards make a disk) to access the optional chest at the end of the last quest for the named items.

It takes one of each disc. The sockets are color coded. However you only need one full set of discs per group not per player.

One set is consumed per run of the final quest if you want the chest that the named loot comes out of.

Each disc comes from a different quest. In a full group it seemed like 2 or 3 ppl would get the disc and the rest would get a shard.

The 'aligned' flag is very neat, you know, you should add it as a benefit on concordant oppositoin shroud weapons, which no one ever makes for any reason except on casters/clerics .. it wouldnt be very popular, but it'd be neat regardless.

i think its just the named ones. i pulled a para kama of everbright and its still a x2 weapon. id be for making kamas x3 weapons personally and i dont even have a monk anymore.

I would call them Wacky like Foxes...Master Forgers I'd say...unless my eyes mistake, I think the picture/screenies of these weapons indicate a 'battleaxe' template(icon used)...which means those Wacky Sarlonans must be pretty handy with a hammer/anvil to convert said B-axe to such interesting Kamas :)

Since it's a prefix, it would take the place of Metalline, which means you'd still have to deal with the metallic resist on any critter with meaningful DR, so you'd be hoping for Aligned <metal> <weapon> of <whatever> to break DR. That's really no better than Metalline <weapon> of Pure Good.

Sure, being able to hit with lawful/chaotic is occasionally useful...Maruts, Tharashk Hounds, and a few others...but it really is a very few others, and you don't get Holy or any other damage prefix to assist you.

On a named item with a bunch of bonuses, I could see it being useful. But randomly generated? Booby prize.

It will open up the available mix of weaponry that can bypass the DR of Eladrins (Evil, Evil & Cold Iron) as well as Archons and Angels (Evil) if we ever get them.

Nah, it opens up Aligned <x> of Greater <y> Bane, which is almost as good as (Alignment [Burst]) <x> of Greater <y> Bane, but better than Transmuting/Metalline of PG.

As far as i have seen on Lammania, no. Not as of yet. But hopefully someone will figure it out soon. Of course, the fact that some people have been taking true resurrections with their high level characters rather than or after running the new content once may slow it down a bit. :)

Seems like there are a few more quests yet to be put on the test server. Someone that did a TR had 4-5 show up in his quest compendium, all were high level, one was level 20, and one was solo. Perhaps you'll find it in one of those...

Pulled four more Dream Edges: 2 with Feather Falling, 1 with Lesser Giant Bane, and 1 with Lesser Magical Beast BAne. Seems to be just a random minor effect.

Our run last night pulled a Dream Edge with Finesse on it (as the Variable) and a Quorforged Docent (at least one in the group has some WF who are close to those levels so he got it.) Took screenshots if they are needed later.

Well spears themselves are 1d8.. with 3x critical (even though it's piercing damage)


SO i'd say thats why rahls (which is a pseudo spear even if it's under quarterstaffs at the moment ) has those as stats.


I'm quite happy one of my old suggestions sort of made it ;)

The quarterstaff animations would begging for double weapons, spears and polearms to be added.
