I'm reserving space to track the names of the guilds who first complete the raids on Cannith.

At this point, it's quite possible that Tempest Spine, VoN and ADQ have already been completed, possibly even Reaver's Fate.

Anyone out there already completed a raid on Cannith?

Here's your chance to brag a little.

Ultimate bragging rights will go to the first group to complete Tower of Despair on Cannith. That will be a truly scrappy bunch of players.

My guild: Wolf Pack has completed Tempest Spine on Hard Sunday 09/06 at 6 PM EST, on the new server Cannith of course.

i have been playing on Cannith everyday since it opened

the highest level character that i have seen on the group list was 13

i flagged for von with my level 9 FvS, but no raid yet

i will try to flag for DQ soon

not having the loot is definitely going to make it slower for some content

We ran a successful PUG TS normal raid just before the Wolf Pack run above, levels 7-11 (highest character was an 11 wiz, lowest was a level 7, everyone else was 8-10). I remember seeing the Wolf Pack LFM up shortly after we finished, but remembered thinking my character was too low level to join as he is still only level 8.

Unfortunately no screenshots so maybe it didn't happen, however it was a reasonably good run (I think we had about 4 deaths in total getting to the top, and 2 or 3 people got blown off the mountain at the end).

I doubt we were the first though, TS is too easy a raid even on untwinked toons. We were considering 6-manning the raid in fact on our original PUG party, but decided we'd open it up as a full raid instead.

Pugs are already figuring out Velah...

I know there were a few attempts today but kept getting caught at velah - seems some of the mechanics have changed and some newer players got a lil education to the event.

Im glad to see it's already being done but shocked about the PUG side. Seems like independant contracting is on the rise in quality players. Could this be a seperation of the elitists?

Aside from the Wolf Pack, none of the guilds on Cannith have enough people at high level to run Velah. If Aphrodisiac and Kirinac want to run Velah, they have to join a Wolf Pack run or they have to PUG out some slots.

I know I've been wanting to run her for several days, but had to wait for a large enough group of people at appropriate ability level. Those two wipes today kinda blew.

It will definitely be easier to verify if we can see screenshots

Congrats on TS!

I get the impression that the first few days of Cannith were very unusual - lots of veterans from other servers, many of whom came across without all their old guilds etc. The pugging that we are seeing may simply be these players finding groups of people they want to run with (this was definitely one of my key motivations for joining these groups). As is always the case, when pugging you tend to end up grouping with the same people again and again (particularly at the 10+ level range as there aren't that many players with toons at those levels yet) so I'm not sure I'd class that as true pugging.

I suspect that many players are looking to get to 32 pt favor and reroll our Cannith toons in a relatively short space of time and also to amass a bit of plat and some good items in the process. The true test of pugging will be when these alts hit the servers. Until then, the new players who have just come on will be running at levels far below the toons of most of the veteran players I imagine.

As to raids, I expect von 6 to go down this weekend at the latest (if it isn't already completed). I've been in about 3 von flagging groups over the last 2 days - first to flag, then to help out friends, guildies etc but the xp on von 3 doesn't hurt either :) . I know that a whole bunch of Wolf Pack are flagged, a few Gods and Heroes (the guild my toon joined) and various others. There should be plenty of interest in von 6 raids over the next couple of days i should think.

Flagging is being started on the desert quests too, and I would imagine that will go down by middle of next week at the latest.

As for TS, its pretty much a loot run on Cannith now rather than a raid ;)

Was a lot of fun, had a lot of people who had never run the Dragon before. Toss in a little twist with her going psycho on an aggro holder standing solo on the bridge and you have a good time by all. Loot was on the light side with only Kundarak Warding Bracers dropping.

The real props go to the leader of the raid, Kirinac (officer, Broken Alliance) and the other very experienced players in the group. We had a very smooth run through part 5, slight hiccup in part 6 in taking the pillars down (no bard in group) but a straightforward end-fight.

For DQ, I think at least half the guys in the VON PUG are flagged, as are probably most of the Wolf Pack that did their VON completion. I think DQ will be completed within 24 hours in all honesty.

To my best knowledge, this was the first shroud complettion, on 10/2/09. Loot guild hosting, several other guilds participating such as Wolf Pack.

Hello all,
Not sure if we're the first on Cannith, but if the listing is accurate/up to date then we might be :)

http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p49/Mads_Leth/ScreenShot00010.jpg
This was actually our 1st guild run too! We literally founded The Adventure Pack, went inside and came out victorious. What I thought should just be a
practise/learning run (our 2nd as group), turned out to grant completion in the end. Im just uncertain if the name we chose is lucky since we completed,
or not since there was no loot :p Our party consisted of :

Acrobot, Warforged Paladin 4, Rogue 4, Monk 1 (Crystal runner, shooter)
Bloodleaf, Halfling Ranger 17 (Pillars, Bait)
Chrystal, Human Fighter 14 (Titan-basher, Bait)
Fascinating, Human Bard 19 (Pillar-dropper, Healer)

Im sure we will be pugging it with the rest of Cannith soon, just had a blast doing it in our new guild :)

See you online!

We have completed ToD on Cannith with the help of many different guild members on the 3rd of January so that's one more raid done :)
