Yeah it will take us time to get everything shuffled over to its appropriate homes ^^ so you might still see some threads moving to and fro with "moved" messages to let you know where they went (in some cases its self explanatory, but not always).

Looks pretty cool but gave me a little vertigo at first because of the switch!

I don't like it. Not a bit. Is there any sort of User CP options to flip everything back? I mean it - this sucks.

Is there any way to make the recent threads box as big as it was before? Made it easier to see what was going on at a glance. This one is just too small :(

*looks at the forums and sighs* turning DDO into LOTRO I see. I much preferred DDO's layout.

To take a classic line from one of the best comedies ever produced (super troopers).

"I'll believe that when me **** turns purple and smells like rainbow sherbet."

As a side note, please increase the number of recent threads shown on the main page again.

Thanks

It's more LOTRO-like in its presentation. Old habits die hard, but this seems pretty cool!

Yeah, if we could get like the top 15 most recent threads that'd be super.

I'm not a fan. It's too specialized now. Too many subforums means that some of them will get almost no interaction. I mean, how many threads will the PvP forum get?

Too many subforums is never a good thing.

Agreed, this blows.

Too many sub-forums... Lots of time wasted clicking around between them. Leave the builds (or at least a copy) in the appropriate class/race forum.

More recent threads on the main page please.

Like Yahoo, Google and others, where is the "classic appearance" switch for the forums?

Yikes. I hate to give negative feedback on a project that probably had a *lot* of work put into it, but you've really over-specialized the forums into waaay too many forums on topics that are too small in scope. When I'm checking for new posts that I might find interesting, I'm not clicking through 30 different forums to look for recent threads -- 2 or 3, tops. This used to be (and probably still will be) General, Guides, and sometimes a class forum if I remember there's a hot thread in one of them that I found on the forum home page. By making more specialized locations, you're mostly just making more locations for a thread to be hidden and get a low view count.

There was starting to be too many forums before, and now this is really over the top. It's not about the view, unfortunately -- many of these forums should really be collapsed together so that posts will actually be viewed by more people.

Hopefully this can be taken as constructive criticism, but this new breakout is really a step backwards in forum UX.

Why not? What's wrong with it? Nothing stands out at me and says "because of THIS I'm never coming to these forums again"....
