I know that many of us have the problem that we've crafted something incorrectly and we'd like the opprtunity to at least make the last tier of that item over. Why can we just craft over like we can with DT or Eldrich ritual upgrades...at lease we can save that item instead of starting over.

thoughts?

Well, I definately would not want to see Greensteel crafting get retrofitted into something as disturbingly bad as Dragontouched crafting...

However, I wouldn't mind seeing the following recipies added to the GS crafting.

Transfer of Power:

Requires: Supreme Shard, High Energy Cell, Green Steel Item/Weapon blank for enchantment to be transferred to, Green Steel Item/Weapon for enchantment to be transferred from.
Effect: This recipie transfers the enchantments from one green steel item/weapon to another item/weapon. The original item/weapon is consumed in the process. Cleansing and rituals are not transferred as they are not enchantments.
The Point of this recipie: This is a simple transfer of power from one item to another. This allows a player to keep optimum item placement but has a cost associated with it. (Cleansing shards are hard to come by.)

Suppression of Power:

Requires: Power Shard and High Energy Cell of same level of enchantment to be supressed, Green Steel Item/Weapon to be supressed.
Effect: This recipie removes an enchantment from a greensteel item/weapon. This allows another empowered shard to be used to reenchant the weapon. You can only supress the most powerful enchantment on an item/Weapon.
The Point of this recipie: I fully expect this ability to be used to fix a lot of “Mineral I with the Acid Blast ability” weapon errors.

i was hoping for something like De-Crafting.
Pop your GS item & a powershard(and maybe something else) into the appropriate alter to have it destroy the last level of crafting and spit out random peices of ingredients.

i've screwed up crafting so often i'd love some way to get back the ingredients i've worked hard to lose and correct my messups.

Lots of people have been asking about this.

No response from a dev on it yet. Lots of rumors about it but nothing ever surfaced.

I say being able to de-craft with loss of some materials. :-/
