The following guilds are looking for more adventurers. Learn more about them here!

Windscar, of the Argonnessen server

Compendium Page: http://compendium.ddo.com/wiki/Windscar
""Windscar welcome newbies, but as time goes on, expect them to help others as current members help them. No item trading between guildies, we're a family and just help each other out with items expecting nothing in return. The main thing about windscar though, we're here to have fun!" "

Brothers of Absolute Character, of the Ghallanda server

Compendium Page: http://compendium.ddo.com/wiki/Brothers_of_Absolute_Character
""We are a smaller guild, that seems to be growing daily. We are a pure only guild, so multi-classing is not permitted. Recruitment is by invitation only, but you will usually find us online around 5:00am during the weekdays, and on Friday nights (EST/EDT) doing Guild events / Raids / etc. Come check us out!"

The Dragon Order of Arcanix, of the Khyber server

Compendium Page: http://compendium.ddo.com/wiki/The_Dragon_Order_of_Arcanix
"Our goal is to build a stronger community while developing our characters and guild. We strive to explore the Lands of Xen'drik and help each other adventure til our hearts' content... if you like to mix up a pint of Roleplaying with a dash of Gaming, drop a petition because we would love to share an adventure with you...so brave the lands, sharpen your steel, test your magicks, and most importantly – HAVE FUN! We believe in the integrity of "Game". Maturity is paramount. Skill can be taught. The Guild is the connection to facilitate a renaissance of the "youthful magic of many childhood hours spent pouring over dice, rulebooks, pencils and paper." Others of like mind are always welcome. We take pride in our diversity consisting of relationships spanning; childhood, family, military, college and newly acquired friendships. So let us ban together and fight, if we die, we will die with the enemies heart in our hand. Visit our Compendium Page for more information."
The Ironmen of Xen'drik, of the Sarlona server

Compendium Page: http://compendium.ddo.com/wiki/The_Ironmen_of_Xen%27drik
"A Permadeath Guild with 'ironman' rules. Check our Compendium page for details. Recruitment is open: principal Guild nights are Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at about 8 pm EST - look for any member of "The Ironmen of Xen'drik" in the player listing and send them a tell."
Guild of X, of the Thelanis server

Compendium Thread: http://compendium.ddo.com/wiki/Guild_of_X
"To further explain much of what happens in X, or with X, know that we do not put pressure on people to play the newest content, or to loot, or to share loot. We don't force you to bring all your characters to X, leaving all other guilds. We know you are here to have fun, and we are not here to change that. We are here to help you have MORE fun, and to HAVE FUN with those that want to have fun with us. We have a rich history going back to the beta version of the game, we have had many people come through X have had many guilds join X and we have spawned many guilds from X. For a full history check out the website. If you want to have fun, get decent loot and be treated with respect all we ask that you do the same, then X is for you!"

Game Tip of the Week

Down? Helpless? Tripped? Make sure to use your block! Blocking while prone or in other situations where you are restricted helps to decrease the chances of being hit by enemy attacks and projectiles.

The following thread is scheduled to be unstuck on 12-19-08 unless it is adopted:

Thread Name: Battle of the Bards (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=61869) -

About the Thread:

Since the summer of 2006, Musicman has hosted the Battle of the Bards: a light hearted and fun competition where bards, or players with the help of a bard, gather to share their songs in-game for a chance at being judged the Battle of the Bards Champion. Five competitions have been held, and the thread has served as a running history of one of the long running player-run events on Thelanis. Musicman is looking for someone to carry the torch and take the reigns of being host of the Battle of the Bards. This adoptable thread comes complete with a history of past Battle of Bards winners & competitors, archive of songs performed at Battle of the Bards, and the full instructions & tips for interested contestants. Help keep the music alive on Thelanis!
