This toon is currently 8th lvl with a 28pt build. Here he is as a 32 pt build I add the 4 additional pts to charisma.

I will need to re work my enhancements next. Any recommendations being either racial or enhancement will be appreciated.

Id first start by going drow. By going drow you can also specialize in the drow enhancement line with shortswords and rapiers.

My stats would start off something like this:

str 10
dex 17
con 15
int 14
wis 8
char 10

I go odd in a lot of my stats because its rather easy to nab a +1 tome now a days, and if you get a +3 tome sometime down the road - it still evens your abilities out.

I didnt see your whole line, but I would also suggest working your way through the enhancements with way of the assassin I and perhaps II.

Toughness IMO is a wasted feat and by balancing your con abilities from the begininning, you wont be such a squishy. I would pick up Improve Crit - piercing at level 9, not 12. that is all for now.


UPDATE:
You do not list any of your enhancements which is fine, but remeber you dont have to line out all the trap monkey deals as long as you max out all your skill points in trap skills and have decent items with high end tools you should be fine.

Additionally, you might want to look into skill boost on your enahncement line. Thats always nice to have if you feel your not up to snuff on a trap.

I noticed you habve skill focus UMD - that may or may not factor into being useful, time will tell. But remeber if you get skill boost III which I beleive is +4 to skill boost, then there is your +3 on UMD. SPend that feat on later downt he line for Greater two weapon or for an exotic weaponry like heavy repeating crossbow - which is a nice pickup!

Thanks I missed the feat at 10th lvl. Actually I like playing human on this toon. Which specialty is good? Ineed tio spec out my enhancements tonite or tomorrow at the latest I am heavily thinking of restarting this character.

I think your Hit Points are too low.

I would suggest you put that Toughness back and take two points off your Charisma and put them on your Con.

Otherwise you will most likely be know as Squishy McSquishypants. :D

As it is now, even with a +6 con item, minos helm, and Agent favor you still wont break 200.

But then again, you did not include your enhancements so maybe you take care of some of that there, but really, dropping your charisma by 2 wont change much.

Other than the HP problem, it's a good build

i think the best rogues currently are either halfling or drow

humans can be good, but i think those races are better in current game

I think the human is great. I would take int down to 14, shift bluff to jump and the 4 build points to con. I would also take dex down to 15 and move the two pts to str. so 12 15 14 14 10 14 would be my stat line looking for a 20 26/28 22 22 12 20 finish. The two human points jogging around with +1 and 2 tomes will get ya there. Equipting the spect opts, head of good fortune, and reavers ring as my speciatly items. As a non eleven/halfling rogue, 30+ dex is inpractical, so really looking to put on mith chain shirt with a dex cap at 22, and anything higher on the dex side is jsut for finess and reflex save. Diplomacy is terrific, Bluff is terrible as constructed.
