Can my halfling monk (no rogue) get any benefit from the enhancement that adds sneak attack damage?

What if I use the monk attack that makes my target "vulnerable to sneak attack" ?

What if she has the "sneak attack" quality on an item? The combat log would show sneak attack damage.

I think you've got your answer right there. ;)

There are no prereqs (http://compendium.ddo.com/index.php/Enhancement:Halfling_Guile_I) to have Sneak Attack from rogue levels, tus, you will benefit from it. Think of weapons of backstabbing (http://ddo.enterwiki.net/page/Backstabbing).

Yes, you get a major benefit.

At level 6 take Adept of Water and Unbalancing Strike, then at level 7 Halfling Cunning II and Halfling Guile II. When you hit a monster with Unbalancing Strike, it must pass a reflex save or become vulnerable to sneak attacks for up to 60 seconds. That's like you get +4 damage and +4 to hit for the rest of the fight, at a cost of only 5 Ki.

I suspect that Halfling TWF kama monks will turn out to be the highest DPS monk build, due to Halfling Guile.

Thanks for the info!
I didn't plan on taking TWF+ ITWF in the near-term. Might respec to that closer to the end-game, depending on some other things. So far Ive been enjoying unarmed strikes with power attack and cleave. Cleave is a killer kick animation for monks.

Its expensive though, you must take rank of cunning for each rank of guile. Playing with it on my rogue not cost effective to max. Good fun though and the situational to hit bonuses actually add up well.
