So here I am digging through all the forums and various other sources for finding green steel recipes, but I can't even find a hint of handwraps.

If there really are then Turbine has just totally screwed almost all of the people planning an unarmed monk, because it denies them access to a form of loot that every other character in the game can make use of that they can't (Yes they can use Kama/Q-Staff, but I'm talking about Unarmed Specialist Monks), and they even caved and gave the already overpowered and in Dire need of a nerfing Dwarves their god D**N uneeded Dwarven Axes so why can't monks get Hand Wraps?

Just make additions directly to the Fists themselves!

That way you can do 3 sets of 3 tiers of crafting to the fists of a capped monk, that stack with Handwraps!

look to be honest they should make hand wraps be placed in the gauntlet slot and also maybe I am getting old but they should make monks only carry what was it 11 magical items. want to be true to the class I say lets make them go back to pen and paper and enforce the 11 magical item limit on MONKS. =)

Would green steel be had wraps still? Or would they be closer to gauntlets? I don't have all of my books in front of me but I don't know if armored gauntlets would be considered a monk weapon :)

The other question to consider: If you're wearing handwraps, does the magical bonus apply to your kick attacks? :P

Edit: Oooh, or they could make monk boots...

We can make belts, boots, and even cloaks from green steel....

Kamas are lame compared to fists, and staves are not finesse like they should have been changed to if they are going to be monk weapons.

So there is no raid option for anything other than a kama for any dex based monk.

Small horns have not been made into recipes yet, add green steel handwraps.

looking at the spreadsheet here --> http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=pLaIqDL_IzJRx5CcCEpCaYg&gid=11
it looks like theres alot of unknown reecipes, im bettin one of them are handwraps. and before the 'hand wraps are cloth' argument comes up, as someone already mentioned, i'm pretty sure cloaks are considered cloth.

With the right group with the right gear you can cap a toon in less than a week... Just gotta know how to do it which quests at what levels and what difficulties.
