The caster enemy caster AI is so bad right now that DDO isn't even suitable for launch. Being the eternal optimist I am, I tried Risia for the first time this weekend. Still not fixed. If this alpha enemy caster AI was demonstrated at a show, people would laugh. It's horrible and the game loses a lot. When will enemy casters work again?


For those of you in the dark. Sometime back, caster AI (and lots of creatures that range) was changed. Casters now run up to the target, bump it, turn around to retreat and cast a couple spells at the wall. It's sorry. Mod 7 is like a fresh coat of paint on a building that should be condemned.

Fix the caster AI and give us our game back.

Gotta admit, he's got a point.

Although, I do intensely enjoy knifing (umm, well, battleaxing) said casters in the back while they're busy trying to kill that wall that has apparently irritated them so much.

Measure twice, cast once. They're pacing out the spell range.

I agree, there are a ton of in game content items that need repaired. This is a major one as well.
