View Full Version : Dissatisfied with Customer Support

I'm not a guy that complains about many things, but something really unfortunate happened to me today. After 4 months of work, my primary cleric toon finally hit 1750 favor and I got my +2 tome. In my excitement, I accidently clicked on the +2 intelligence tome instead of the +2 wisdom tome. Needless to say, I was really upset (mostly at myself)

A few people told me not to worry about it. They said the DDO Customer Support team was really great and would fix it. Afterall, they have fixed stuff like this in the past for other people. Unfortunetly, when I spoke to a GM today, he said there was nothing he could do. He suggested I post my feedback here if I wasn't satisfied with this recent change in service.

One thing I've been really happy with up until now, was the great Customer Service has been provided in the past. I hope things aren't sliding downhill. Is there anything that can be done? I'll admit that this was mostly my fault, but I hope this message is read by some sympathetic and compassionate eyes.

Thats awful to hear. I wish you the best.

My advice is to try again. Sometimes when coming up against a problem within an organisation talking to the right person is all that is needed. Perhaps ask to speak to a senior employer? Someone who can fix the problem rather than having it shrugged off. There is a lot of hard work involved in acquiring a +2 favor tome. I'm sure there is somone at turbine that can help you.

well technically they could do somthing about this, however it is highly doubtful they will. They are not here to correct mistakes made by players when selecting things, In this case it was a favor tome. sorry for your misfortune. on the positive side, you will get more skill points now when you level :)

I've never had a GM fix an item/inventory/reward issue. The extent of their help for me has been spawning monsters, and teleporting a character to a party member when said character is in a bugged/stuck state.

Unfortunately, and I feel for you, you are mostly likely stuck with your choice.

Look on the bright side, at least now you can roll 32 point builds!!! +2 tomes are common enough in end-game loot that you can loot one and trade it for your wisdom tome you want. :)
