/RANT ON!!!!!!!!

Please, for the love of all that is good, can we get arrows/bolts from chests in stacks of 50???????? 20 is just silly at this point in DDO, and trying to collect them is an exercise in futility, given all the permutations that are possible..............

If I'm not mistaken they changed that so they didnt load at player request...

Flynn, just in case you weren't aware, if you have several types of arrows, and you only want certain ones to autoreload, you lock the other that you do not want to reload down, and leave the ones you want to use unlocked. When you run out of arrows, your autoreload will only select arrows that are unlocked. If there are none, then you will run out. If there are multiple types of arrows unlocked, then it is random which ones will get autoselected.

its not random

it goes from first inv space to last, top to bottom, left to right

organize your arrows as such if it matters to you

I assume You're referring to D&D quivers. But, as we all know, arrows/bolts are sold through the vendors in stacks of 100, which is already very "un-D&D" like. Changing chest drops to 50 would be a very small change, but would help anyone that uses arrows/bolts a great deal.......................

Agreed, as long as there's a minimum # (i wouldn't like to see 3 arrows/bolts of XXX drop), maybe 50-100?

Might we, maybe, possibly, get something cool like a 100% returning arrow? Maybe make it special, like raid loot or something? Sturdy arrows just don't cut it when you have Many Shot going.

They did give them to us ... it is call arcane archer. Lets you summon a stack of 100 100% returning arrows and bases the + on them based off the number of enhancements you put in.

I looked and looked but my rogue can't see that option. Perhaps a simple 100% returner could be available as treasure for
those of us who aren't rangers. It doesn't have to have a +1. Just a vanilla bolt/arrow that is 100% returning.

Also think you should need 4 of them to work with many shot or 3 or them to go in a repeater.

Two things here:

1) Not every archer is a ranger / spellcaster and so the Arcane Archer is less than desireable. Especially when I can simulate the effect 75% of the time using a well designed +1 - +5 Bow and a stack of House D sturdy arrows. I would rather have Imbue Spell Effect or the Death Arrow or something to simulate AA, instead of a stack of +X arrows.

2) A stack of 100 100% returning arrows? Really? We need that many guaranteed returning arrows in a stack? I don't get a stack of returning axes, or daggers, but aparently it is important to have 100 of the arrows. BTW, this is not a stab at you, it's a stab at Turbine for not covering all the little details there.

As ahpook said, and I mentioned earlier, a simple +1 Returning arrow would be appreaciated so much. Make it fancy (like an addition to the craftable items in the shroud) or leave it boring (because I rely on the bow for most of the effects that I do, and not the arrow), but make it more readily available. The AA enhancement line is, as is currently available, one I would consider the least desireable of all the enhancment lines.

Actually all arrows should be returning technically. I mean missed shots only have a 50% shance of breaking in PnP. why not have all normal arrows have 10% returning, masterwork 25% returning +1 35% +2 45% +3 55% +4 65% and +5 75% (with that being the top end and anything above that as 75% returning)


or since quivers are supposed to come in in Mod 7 have some quivers grant a % returning property to the arrows/ammo in it.

Like a Recurves Quiver (grants 65% returning to any ammo that comes from it.)

maybe other quivers with effects on it like

Quiver of Speed (+15% Ranged Alacrity)

Burning Quiver (adds +1d6 Fire Damage to any "Normal Ammo" that comes from the quiver)


while on is why not have arrows out in the world drop in random amounts from 20-100

True as that is, I don't know if I would want to see that become a feature. Might be a little overpowering for bows. Then again, I could be completely wrong and this could be a huge boost to bows.
