Went in the Shroud 4-5 with her yet? Borror's screaming for more in there. (I'm the low 300s too, can't remember the exact number. I'll be making Green Steel HP Goggles for sure though.)

4 yes, 5 no. She did just fine in 4 with her HP total I felt. It was only on normal, however, so maybe I'll feel I need more HP on hard/elite --- or more AC action boosts - lol.

Dwarf Fighter 14, 509 (529 soon). One Toughness Feat, 28 point build. If there were more enhancements that fit well I'd drop some of the Toughness enhancements, but it's very useful to have that many in the new raid.

Snoggy's sitting at 402 unbuffed. This is the same 28 point build halfling fighter Snoggy (level 16) that's been called gimp here and there. So that must mean 400 hps is like the DDO version of the Mario Mendoza line.

Halfling ranger multiclass AC 45-52 HP 302. Does not attempt to melee the pit fiend, wants company when meleeing elite orthons, can solo melee everything else
Halfling barbarian/fighter 412ish?, 480ish raging, AC 35-42. Melees everything.

When reading these posts remember that "gimp" is not the # of HP you don't have, but having sacrafised way to much to get the ones you do have. IE the 575-750 range.

There is no "gimp in my Fighter/Barb 617HP, When I get my +3 Tomes I will have 32 Con and 34 Str with every feat that most fighters would take. Not only that but if you haven't tried something you shouldn't be so quick to judge.

Try taking things that reduce how much damage you take or that increase the amount you are healed. Sounds like a major spell point sponge to me. Give me a human with 400HP and improved recovery anyday.

Okay Breakdown for Fighter Hit Points(If you just want to be that tough)

So total
20+12 or 10*16(168)+Con of 28-36(+9-+13 *16 = 144 - 208) Toughness Feat(18) Toughness Abilities(130) = 526 average fighter or barbarian hit point goal, this not the best but this is about where most fighters and barbarians, unbuffed this is without items, end up. After buffs and its all said and down, Fighters and Barbarians usually enter a dungeon with around 700 - 800 possibly as high as 1000 HP to spare, some form of DR and then on top of everything resistance to whatever damage type is being slung at them.
Problem with this:
HEALING IT BACK UP WHEN IT ALMOST DIES ON YOU!

I do have those and I don't need to be heal as often as you may think, like I said don't knock it till you try it. Besides AC doesn't do much for you now days at higher levels and I do have damage reduction.

in my Fighter/Barb

When you say fighter/barb, is that something akin to Illuminati's 2 levels of fighter 14 levels of barbarian build?

Also is that 617 while raging?

When you discount the effectiveness of Armor Class in the current game environment, is that under or over 55 AC?

I just think certain details should be fleshed out before you two take this thread in "that" direction. :P

Dwarf THF 16 fighter - 502hp

Drow TWF 8 fighter / 6 ranger / 2 rogue - 346hp

AC-what? lol. My dwarf is a total aggro magnet and sponge, but the Drow does fine.

/offtopic

Along the lines of "don't knock it till you try it" the bolded part is, as usual, not entirely accurate.

Dwarf Fighter 12pal3rgr1 - 482hp AC buffed normaly low 50's with 2 hander out. I dont really worry abotugetitng mroe at this point cleric can already leave me not fullwhen useign a heal spell, and it's enough to stand toe to toe with the pit fiend in shroud on leet. to get more wich i coudl i would have to sacrifice to much to do it.
(note originaly a pure fighter build with 6 cha, hit 12 then the cap wen t up and i realized hum dont really care about another feat or 2 btu startign to go pally for the imunities could be worht it, it is saves 2 slots, and even the babby aura rocks, ranger added fro skills, more portal damage, and bow str, probably evetualy for rams might as well.)

Human lvl 16 fighter (28 point build) x2 Toughness + Minos + GFL + Toughness Enhancement (max) = 420hps
AC is 48 unbuffed, with Dodge feat but no CE.

Thinking about starting a new fighter with a 32 point build. Probably Dwarf so I get double toughness enhancements.
