Just an FYI, but there is no such number as IIX in Roman Numerals. The correct "8" is VIII.

I just got a chuckle out of it.

Wasnt this already fixed? I could of sworn the Components I bought the other day were indeed VIII.
Maybe some Spell Icons still show IIX?

People have supposed that IIX was used as an artwork shortcut/spacesaver. But, speculation aside, IIX is a documented, historical construction for the number 8 in Roman numerals. It was not often used or found in historical texts, but does exist and was not "made up" by Turbine. :)__

Components are IIX, spell icons are VIII.

Except Mass Death Ward which is IV....

Anyone else experience deja vu?

Got to love Turbine's non consistancy use of words... like Greataxe and Great Axe.:(

He's doing that to stay nine years younger :p

The mad-man's right; Romans didn't have as consistent a writing format for numbers as we do, and even with our more consistent format, we still have numbers that break rules. 2,008 v. 2008

Not to mention a lot of words can be spelled differently, but are still correct even if the usage is archaic or dialect specific, i.e. colour. I take a lot of hits for that one and also manouvre.

Pretty much what we kidded about when trying to decide which one to take (on the wiki). We settle for Greataxe as a category full of Great Axes might be confusing taken out of context. ;)
