I am very new to the game, so new I have yet to make a new character I can stick with. :)
My experience with DDO goes as far as the open beta and I didn't get that far, but here I am MANY months later with a brand new account and a willingness to learn. So, are there any guilds looking to take in a friendly and mature newbie?

You're always welcome to hang with the Lifetakers and ask/learn at will! If you're looking for a permanent home, all that we ask is that our players uphold these three principles:

Teamwork: We take care of each other, and ensure that everyone shares a successful role in the adventures.

Fun: We like getting experience points and quality loot as much as the next player, but the enjoyment of playing the game and the camaraderie it brings remain our primary goals.

Reality: We know that real life comes first. If your spouse/kids need you, work calls or you need to drop off in the middle of an adventure due to a real-life crisis, we understand. We’ll wait if necessary. We have grown to be such a close-knit group of friends that we'll have plenty to talk about in the meantime…

Beyond that - new, old, zergers, pen-and-paper exiles, and more - are all welcome. Our website is here if you want to take a look: http://lhguild.org

We're on Ghallanda. And welcome back to Stormreach!

My god man, we thrive on it!

As tbrazile said above, come check us out! We should be able to get together pretty easily. I definitely recommend checking out our website though. It will give you some of the flavor of our guild, and is a great place to set up quests, find people that you appreciate and match up well with, and get ideas for a character that you'll actually keep. :)

If you want, post on the Lifetakers and Heartbreakers website (http://www.lhguild.org) and we'll arrange a time for an officer to run around with you.
