I've heard several people mention this as a DDO gift (but have never cared to get one myself). A mouse with buttons on the side for your thumb to add some easy to access hotkeys. ;)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826153020That's a rather interesting use of "Dots Per Inch"... in my work, I deal with a lot of images, and we use that as a more generic way of saying "Pixels Per Inch". I'm guessing it refers to sampling rate (4000 samples per inch), but it just seems wrong or something.

<quick search on teh intarwebs>

Ah ha! You mouse people are sneaky! Looks like "Counts Per Inch" (CPI) is the "actual" measure, but it is commonly called DPI, PPI, or even SPI. I gotta say, though: I'm pretty surprised they use the acronym DPI, considering that it is hooking into a machine that actually deals with dots/pixels over distance (computer monitor display).

Tricky tricky!

LoL, This thread will no doubt be hijacked by a wish list.:D

There was some study done, heard on FOX news, that most shoppers will actually buy for themselves when shopping for others for the holidays.

As a great gift idea I would suggest bath towels, Big cotton bath towels. $8-$15.

And a $300 video card for me!:p
<edit> Oh and a 32" display.

Subscription to Netflix. Got one last year and love it, love it, love it!

Not a movie goer? Music downloader? Gift cards for iTunes rock!

Those two are my favorites.

For the geeks we all know and love, Think Geek (http://www.thinkgeek.com/) is the perfect place to shop. My husband can thank them for some of his wardrobe.

A site I've enjoyed poking around in is Gifts.com (http://www.gifts.com/). You can search by personality (interest) which I thought was pretty cool.
Had I never visited the site, I would never have known about this! (http://www.gifts.com/search/product/iPod-Dock-Toilet-Paper-Holder?ideaID=8769&prodID=88684) :eek:
