Hi all, I have another build that I've done for roleplaying purposes but am wondering how practical and useful it will actually be. Take a look at my Dwarven Artificer.

With +6 cha, int, and +4other stat items my end stats would be
Str:12
Dex:18
Con:14
Int:28
Wis:14
Cha:24

I should be able to use most every wand/scroll/magic item in the game, how I picture an artificer. Has some definate warforged catering, and even has some great rogue skills to boot. Ending rogue skills assuming +10 item for each is DD:39,OL:34, search:32.
That is before wizard buffs and +2 skill boost. What do you guys think? I'll be missing the highest level of wizard spells(FoD,Discoball,etc) but I feel like I make up for that with being able to use heal/res scrolls and can still produce a hot firewall.

I like sorceror for a repairbot char (probably warforged as well), but that is just me. The opportunity to cast quickened (taking the quickened feat) repair spells with a sorceror's casting time is irresistable for me... I would take 1st level as a bard if I were going along your vein of thinking (a multi-class char) repair style. The nice thing about your build is evasion and in the next module you will be able to take the substitute int for dex feat for reflex saves which is nice. You are also a decent rogue - the rogues out there will have to give you some feedback on your rogues skills. I guess that I have a slightly different picture of artificer in that I see it more as a warforged healer which may not be what you are going for..:)

Did you take your Stat level ups? It looks oddly low stated and I don't see where your increases went.

you could also get away with just 2 levels of rogue probably... just sayin

and would probably have an easier time if you started with Rogue at level 1 (many more Skill points less catch up work)

also I don't think Improved Trap Sense Enhancment is necessary really. What you may consider is at one point taking the new Feat that is coming in Mod 6 Insightful Reflex... it changes your Reflex save from Dex based to Int based... could help ya with those nasty traps...

err one other thing.. toughness.. toughness.. dwarves got a nice survivablity advantage between toughness (take a feat and grab some toughness ap) and the increased con.. take advantage of it..:)

/agree... might wanna drop Imp Mental Toughness for it
