Attention heroes and citizens of Stormreach!

+Tchurvul's smuggling efforts have been dissuaded. Scouts have reported that the Emerald Claw soldiers in Stormreach and her outlying lands have decreased by a significant number. This is largely due to your efforts as a whole! Know that your cunning, strength, teamwork and bravery has swayed evil from overtaking our homes and that every citizen to our fair city has each of you to thank-your efforts have not gone unnoticed.

Alas, not all evil has left. The city guards have provided me with news that +Tchurvul and +Derneal have turned against eachother and have been spotted in the various wards of the city, partularly in the Harbor area.

Keep watch for these two villains. If at all possible, we ask that you capture these nefarious souls for questioning. Post your findings here for the Coin Lords and myself.

Terrah walked up to the announcement posted by Sir Lawrence and after readining it walks away.
Muckka walks up from out of the crowd and speaks.
"What of it Terrah?"
"They are apparantly fighting each other now, they are asking us to capture them and bring them to justice."
Muckka sniffed, shuffled her feat and then walked away back toward the keepers meeting place. Terrah turned back and looked at the sign.
fighting themselves huh?
Terrah didn't believe it for a second and would not until she saw both of them lead away in chains.
It did not help the current situation however since she still felt there was a darkness lurking about the city. If the elders were right, then the shadow would exist as long as Tchurvul remained alive or severed his pwoers from the pillar. Yet, since the evil wizard may not even know that he is tapping into the dark powers it was difficult to fathom what could be done before it was too late.
The fighter turned heal and then walked back down the street while reaching into her pocket and pulling out a small parchment. It was a piece that one of the emerald claw raiders in the sorrowdusk isles had dropped whe Terrah removed one of their heads. On it was symbols etched in an ancient language. Litz thankfully was able to interpret it. It was a torn piece of an ancient scroll but the words did not make any sense.
"To the temple of the ancients it lies..."
That was all that was written on it. Terrah looked up and then put the tattered piece away then walked on back to the tavern.

Hares was a middle aged man that had not had much luck since coming to stormreach. On 5 seperate adventures had he been on and in all of them not one piece of valuable bounty had come his way. He was now down to his last bag of gold and when that ran out he would have to return to his village in Bree, broke and worthless. He kicked a stone after thinking about how someone could be set upon with such bad luck yet tomorrow he would be travelling back to artaxia's in search with a company of wizards that asked him to come along. It would be a small compensation if he even found one good sword to use.

He also fretted over how he left his village with his family waiving him goodbye, full of hope and wonder at how he would bring their name fame and maybe some fortune. Neither had happened yet. He grumbled under his breath a few curses before looking up and seeing the poster that Lawrence had posted.

He had heard of the evil wizard and had gone on the hunts in Sorrowdusk hoping to be the one to capture the man and finally bring him some wealth. Instead it was just another failure but as he read he realized there was some good news. Tchurvul was in stormreach and if he could be captured there was an award. Hares looked into the sky and smiled. Well maybe we can turn things around a bit...

He chuckled and then turned to walk down the street toward the nearest inn, at least he could drown his sorrows in some good ale. As he walked he suddenly caught a glimpse of something out of his left eye. He turned and saw a small hafling dash into the back ally. He only saw it for a second but when Hares thought about it he remembered the posters of Tchurvul and thought that the hafling looked awefully like the wizard. Hmm, well if it is him, maybe I can be the one to capture him..
He drew out his sword and walked into the ally behind a red bricked building. As he rounded the corner there in the back of the allyway was the hafling standing with his back to Hares. He had no doubts now that this was the wizard. The clothing was the right color, the height as well. The hair was what set it apart, always in that same fashion, just the poster showed. He approached the hafling and since he was no backstabbing thief he called out.
"Turn and face justice Tchurvul! By the right of the coin lords of Stormreach I place you under arres.."

The words did not finish as the hafling turned. What Hares saw was something that looked like Tchurvul. The clothes were shadowy and transparant as if he was a ghost and his head was the shape of the hafling wizard but it was also all dark like a shadow as well. His eyes burned with a red light and when it smiled, there was no teeth and the mouth was hallow. Hares could have mistaken it for a spectre.
The thing smiled at him and then spoke. "Tchurvul...AH hahhahaha. yes I am and no I am not. Yu should be greatful for you will be my first."
Hares flinched back and stood guard ready to fight before he retorted.
"I will be the first what?"
The words barely left his mouth before the shadow struck and Hares barely had time to react or scream before the thing was on him.
As Hares began to loose himself to death he only remembered thinking one last thing.
Now they will never know what happened to me back home...
He then knew no more, and soon the allyway fell silent again with one lone corpse now laying in it. Lifeless, bloodless, and without a soul. Stormreach had its first victim.

Hey all...

You're probably wondering what happened to the latest chapter of the Emerald Claw Conspiracy.

It was scheduled for this evening, but due to the current server problems we're having, unfortunately, we're unable to run it. We will be rescheduling it soon, so stay tuned for information.

We sincerely apologize for any disappointment. Our team is working diligently to restore service, so thanks for being patient!

That Tchurvul is pretty powerful that he can shut down the whole of Eberron.
His powers are growing yet everyone sits idly by while this evil denison continues to darken the world.

Yeah I know they dont think of the rest of the world very often, and I ask EVERY time, but hey if I remind them often enough someone might just think about it for once during scheduling meetings.

Yes I know, I live in a fantasy world. :)

Attention Citizens!

I have received reports this evening of +Derneal haunting about the harbor offering bribes of some sort to anyone who will join him in an uprising!

While disturbing, his actions are also puzzling, and we would like more information! Should you experience anything out of the ordinary, please report it to me immediately.

The coin lords thank you for your loyalty!
