I recently made a new fighter and she is lvl 4 now.. I was thinking to take 2 levels of barbarian and 2 levels of rogue, so by lvl 14 she would be a lvl 10/2/2 fighter/barbarian/rogue... I like having those extra feats from barbarian and rogue like the damage reduction, rage, sneak attack.... Would I take a big hit in killing ability as compared to a pure lvl 14 fighter?

No you won't take a big hit. You won't gain much either from barb because 2 levels don't give the most out of it. I also hope you have a high dex because the main point of taking 2 levels of rogue would be for evasion.

You won't do your character any real damage doing that. I'm not sure two levels of rogue is all that usefull unless you have a plan for it. Evasion only works well if you have a good reflex save (and you probably don't) and sneak attack works best if you don't normaly get agro (and you probably do) so it may not work out all that well for you.

2 levels of ranger is a nice splash for free feats. You get Bow Strength, Rapid Shot, a favored enemy, and Two Weapon Fighting, as well as use of healing wands. Nice if you want a more generalist character.

Also, if you want 2 levels of rogue, it is really great to take the first rogue level at level 1 because you get so many more skill points (e.g., a fighter with a 10 int gets 8 skill points a lvl 1 and 2 at any other level; a rogue with a 10 int gets 32 skill points at lvl 1 and 8 at any other level).

I would just take the one level of barb for the speed and for the 1 rage. Speed is always nice and for the times when magic is being dispelled, a real rage can be a life saver. If you are primarily going for melee though and would like to end up with around 10 levels of ftr a ftr10/rog3/barb1 isnat a bad way to go. Better than a 10/2/2 split anyway.

You only give up 2 BAB and end up with some more skill pts and +2d6 SA damage along with evaision. Cant think of any big reasons to take two levels of barb. For one AP you can pick up barb speed boost which I have been loving on my rog10/ftr3/barb1 since second level.
