Anyone got any builds? With six feats within the first four levels, I'd think human fighters would rule the roost. I just started a dwarf, and he's fun and all, but now I'm addicted to feats! Any famous builds out there?

Human fighters can make very nice builds. Depends what you want, dependn on the race. Human's have Versatilaty an Human adapt goin for em, plus double skill points an 1 xtra feat at creation. I lean toward humans myself, but not all my fightrs are human for various reasons. Whatever the case, the couple of things i would suggest for any fighter type is: Feats-wise, Dodge, Mobility, Spring attack. With Human, dodge an mobility can be picked up at creation, leaving the 3rd an most crucial feat Spring Attack at lvl 4. Spring Attack = Prereqs. of Dodge/mobility an +4 to attack, also need a base 13 dex. Spring attack allows u to move an attack with no penalty. Virtually a must have in my book. Your fighter goes from standn to chasing or whatever an keeps his *to attack bonus*. As far as slashing feats, bludge whatever, thats at yer discretion, slashing is a popular way to go, but not always best in some situations. Hp's are good to have, such as toughness feats, etc..., But keep in mind, Spring attack works for any wep, an allows u to attack on the run which is very handy in any case. Look into Improved crit Feats at 8, such as slashing/bludge or pierce, dependn on what type of fighter you are by that point, slash/bludge etc... Also Power-Attack is a big one, but it has a few draw backs but is worth it. Makes for uber dmg tho. I hope this helps with yer quest to build the ultimate fighter :) GL

I built a 28 pt pure human fighter and started with a 14 CHA. With the extra human skill points and fighter feats, I got skill focus: use magic device and other items to boost UMD and items to get my CHA to 20. At level 12, I had a 20 UMD which was good enough to equip most race restricted weapons, armor and items and reliable enough to self heal with cure light, cure moderate and lesser restore wands among other types. I found some nice race restricted swords, shields and armors on other characters which I was able to equip him with by progressively increasing his UMD skill. Just another idea.

On a weekly basis I run with a group of friends using a WF fighter who rocks.

I'm using two handed weapons because of the WF ability.

At 1st level I ran Miserys Peak with a lvl 3 pally and killed 170+ to his 27.

At level 9 he regularly hits for 70+ damage (plus glancing damage to nearby targets) in level 11 quests.

The focus has been on getting critical hits so .....

Action Points into Critical Accuracy

Feats Improved Crit (Choose what u want to use, I've taken Slashing)
Power Crit

Use weapons that do that little extra on a crit and you're really going to put a downer on a mobs day.

amazing story bro but not nearly amazing enough to necrobutcher a 2 year dead thread (that has been necro'd before).

power crit is useless.
