How about just keeping a running list of everyone who has been in group since a quest was started, and as chests are opened, roll loot for only those people.

Wouldn't this prevent the "Muck Dead. 2 Slots for free chance at muckbane" type issues, while also not killing loot for the dude that recalled out at the moment a chest was opened?

Couldn't this be applied as a better solution to some of the raid loot issues?

I really don't think the change was aimed at Muck as much as it was aimed at the Reaver.

It's there to stop people from running raids faster than thier 3 day limit.

I don't see how the change will prevent that... Doesn't it just mean that you have to get your other toon in the quest before the rest of your team finishes it. That wouldn't be a problem in most cases.

I don't see why so much effort is put into this anyway (and I say this as a person who has exactly Zero rair loot items). If other people want their alt toons or friends to get the raid loot instead of them, let them. It may not be ideal, but it is horrible to prioritize stopping that over average people just having fun.

Not sure how the change is changing "fun" either. Just have to be a bit more careful.
