That amount of mana is OK. The common things that make 2 characters different are high end WIZ items, double dipping a casting stat (multi-pal, sorc, etc.), & dwarven faith. Since most people concerned about mana will max out the feats & class enhancements I didn't bother mentioning them.

My Null Cleric has 1195, my Dorf has 1305

The amount of mana you has esnt as important as the focus of the builds

Just get a torc and keep your base sp around 900-1000

My pure human cleric has 1270.
She has a 30 wisdom, MT, IMT, all four levels of energy of the zealot and a magi item (pop7 for when i forget to equip the buff stick). spell points work out about right for most quests - except when i forget to turn off max and/or emp and cast super clw's..

My Dwarf Cleric 13 / Pally 1 has 1345sp at level 14 ((double dip on sp)).

30 Wisdom, Black Dragon Armour (+125sp) and Dwarven Faith II (+30sp)

Two items that will help with SP are: Torc of Prince Raiyum-de II from the demon queen raid and a spell storing ring from the desert.

My 2 Lvl 14 Clerics run with 1090/1093, 30/32 Wis.
This works fine for me, but I also have money to buy pots and have them on hand if things go south.

You might shoot for highest wisdom possible first, and then if you usually have SP left at the end of most dungeons you play, try trading out Improved Mental Toughness for a Spell Focus or Meta MAgic feat.

Other people might have more SP than you, but that doesn't mean that they are spec'd the same way you are. .. Perhaps you might only have 1200 SP but because of the feats you shose you do more damage or your spells land more than theirs.
