I have built Warchantress to lvl2 bard. Please give me your thoughts on
which path I should take from here - one is pure bard other is 2 lvl ftr. The plus 2 con tome is actual an +2 con necklace. This doesn't take into account other equipment. I am actually leaning to the 2 lvl ftr. Feedback requested.

Well two weapon defense really isn't going to do much for you, on both builds you should be taking improved critical piercing instead.

If you do decide to go the 12/2 route you should take the 2nd fighter level at 14, this gives you 11 BAB and you can take GTWF with your fighter bonus feat, that will give you way more DPS than power critical.

In my opinion 14 int is a waste, just keep at 10 and drop a couple of skills combat is more important for a build like this than a few more semi-useful skills. Put those points into Con instead and try to start with at least 12 con.

As far as which is better 12/2 or 14 that is hard to say at this point in the game. At the current cap the 12/2 build will have much higher DPS due to GTWF, but the pure Bard can take that at 15. On the other hand some of the fighter enhancements (fighter haste boost, critical accuracy and +1 to strength can all be very helpful). Ultimately until the cap is at 20 all anyone can do is give you opinions at this point as to which will be more powerful in the end. No one knows what the differences will be between 18 levels of Bard versus 20. It might be just -1 to inspire courage, 50 spell points, and a couple of spell slots, which makes the two extra feats and enhancements a good trade in my opinion. Turbine also might make warchanter II a level 20 enhancement that gives you -10 DR song and +2 to hit and +4 damage boost to inspire courage. At this point we just don't know, the enhancement system makes predicting future builds very difficult as they do not give out any information about what it will look like in the end.

The safest route is to delay multi-classing at this point and stay pure Bard. For warchanter then your feats are pretty much spelled out for you. On the other hand the 12/2 build may well turn out to be the best in the end. You can always take those fighter levels later when you know more information.

Looks like yet another re-roll will be required for poor Ms Warchantress :rolleyes:. I think this may be the last re-roll for her and I'll invest a Dex Tome. I won't re-roll if an alt get to 2nd lvl of Coin Lord favor or I invest a tome. Remember the CON Tome is actually a +2 con necklace.
