OK- if you had your way, what improvements to halflings (besides a better run) would you like to see?
I have built some decent, not amazing toons, but where they fall short seems to be on keeping up on the weapons. Any halfling build can match the same to-hit of another race, with the size bonus and -1 to damage from strength, but what about the enhancements? Dwarves have their axes, and many other great enhancements. Elves and drow have nice weapon lines, too. How about a halflling weapon enhancement line for some of the smaller stuff. Kukris, daggers, light maces, light hammers? Something in there should be halfling-specific.
Halflings deserve more than to be just good at saves and have great dragonmarks. Remember, in Eberron, the Halflings are supposed to be barbarian tribes from the Talenta Plains! They don't ride their dinosaurs up to their prey and take it out with....darts?!?!
Post if you've got ideas on this or any other needed changes to halflings besides the improvements on halflling luck that are coming.

I think we are doin pretty good right now actually....

No other class get a +1 to AC and a +1 to-hit bonus, which if you are dex based or ranged it doesnt just negate the STR penalty.

The Dragon marks are just insane. My marked FTR/PAL is so versatile he can be a 1st hitter/2H, 2nd Hitter/AC Tank, and/or can do backup cleric with 5 heals and all the CSW,CLW, and 2 Lay-on-hands. I think the Dragonmarks go a long way in the "Heroes Companion" department, and its just extremely unfair in the PvP department.

In the enhancement department we have Halfling Luck, +3 to saves...thats the big and pretty much only one besides the racial stat bonus..so I agree we could use a better weapon.
The only good thing about throwers is the neat swish sound they make as they fly. I guess if they gave us kukris that would be cool...I think kuris and light picks would complement our stature very nicely. However the DDO version is already giving us use of the big 2h with no penalty which is nice.

Yea the 2H w/o penalty is nice I would add the kama as a hafling weapon of choice also.

One thing people don't seem to be aware of is that the darts that D&D and DDO refer to are about 12" to 18" long. They are kind of like very small javelins. Don't think pub darts, think lawn darts.

lawn darts

Halflings using an illegal entertainment item as a weapon? Now that is the best thing I've heard all day. :D

Don't forget that the Halflings of the Talenta plains are not the Halflings of Xen'drik or Khorvaire.
