So I pull a hvy fort belt (yeah!) and put it on my WF Brb, and I notice that the Fortification stat goes to 125%. This toon gets the 25% "natural" fort protection; is this correct to add the hvy fort of 100% from the belt to the natural to get to 125%...or is this a bug?

If this is not a bug, I should put a moderate fort belt on this toon and use the hvy fort on another one...yes?

Thanks all.

ATM, 125% has no more use then 100%, however i remember reading a dev post saying how in the future we will be facing enemies that can lower our fortification, so that extra 25% helps keep your fortification up.

found it:

Fortification can in some cases go over 100%. Fortification has no effect on Armor Class or anything else besides the chance to avoid critical hits and sneak attacks, no matter what its value.

It is entirely possible that you will see a few things that can reduce a target's Fortification percentage.

you only need a mod fort item to give full for on a WF. Thats why the dragon belt is so nice for a warforged.
