Dont need to be proficient with a vorpal unless u want to do damage , 20 is a 20 dont matter :)

I dual wield vorpal kamas hehe :p

But since you have a really nice scimmy go for what you want :)

Actually this is not true. You still need to confirm the crit and you will have a lower chance at that if you aren't proficient.

You take a negative on your confirm die roll? never read that anywhere but i guess it could make sense hehe :p

Your confirm check is simply another to hit roll made against the targets AC. Most people have significantly higher confirm checks due to Seeker, Power Critical etc, so it usually doesnt make a big difference. However if you are one of those folks who do not have the feat, or enhancement line, bloodstone or another seeker item, the neg 4 you take for not being proficient could pose a problem. Especially so when duel wielding weapons you arent proficient in, which is a neg 6 to each hand if you DO have two weapon fighting. At least they are light weapons you're fighting with.

Power Critical

They fixed Power Crit. Its not completely and utterly broken anymore.

i did not think there was a roll to confirm critical on a vorpal, there is however a roll by the target to see if they can negate? isnt this how it works?

I put up my trade thread, see if there's anything on there you would trade for it. :)

If you want only a sickle or kukri then change the original post to reflect that...
