so im wondering...
what is included in the 'strategy guide' category?
the sticky in this forums has 'utilitary' guides
imo, not much to do with "strategy"

now, dont get me wrong i love them
they are very usefull

but what about a strategy guide for... oh, let say the twilight forge green room puzzle?

i made one up for my guild, put in screenies and all... looks pretty decent imo
and even someone who cant read can prolly figure it out
(yes, im a visual learner :D )

so do those kind of 'guides' have a place in here?
is there a place for those anywhere in these forums?

that'll be a walkthrough :D

anything can be a guide, so long as the purpose is to generate and exchange efficient ways of gaming. in addition, it has to also "guide" new players or players new to a particular area. ie a crafting guide could be teaching players how to craft stuff more efficiently

ok...
walkthru does describe it much better

and all yer points are conceded to... with... of... [insert correct preposition here... and use and elipse so i dont end the sentence w/it :)]

i guess the whole 'strategy' word threw me off. (ha! ended that one w/a preposition! fight the establishment!! :D)
so it comes down to me being analy semantic :)
