Which die? Why, the dodecahedron "Die of Power", formed from the molten plastic of the Gysers of Gygax, of course! Duh!

"...At least it tells us they understand our language; they're just not willing to speak to us in it. -Who knew they were French?"
I would be a Great Cubicuboctahedron so I could have more sides than a Denny's menu.
The newest computer can merely compound, at speed, the oldest problem in the relations between human beings, and in the end the communicator will be confronted with the old problem, of what to say and how to say it. - Edward R. Murrow (1964)
I would be a loaded die, because the shenanigans involved in them are rather amusing
But Truth is eternal, so it can never be old or new. It never ‘was’ or ‘will be.’ It just ‘is.’ It always ‘is.’
I would be a d4 since I'd be far less likely to roll off the table and get eaten by a dog or vacuum cleaner. I would also be less likely to get stepped on and crushed, and even if I did at least I'd get a final critical hit in.

Voice of the Master: for bonus experience and good luck XD
I'd be one of those d10s that has another d10 inside it. It's all about the versatility, because whether you need 1d10, or 2, or d%, I've got you covered. Letting loose on some foes with a Heavy Crossbow? Got your back. Switching to your Waraxe to finish off their leader? I'll even roll your miss chance on his Blur. Gaining a new Fighter level from that xp? Roll me once for hp but take the highest cuz your DM's nice like that. She's out of town next week so another friend is running a Rogue Trader oneshot? I am literally the one and only die you need to bring, and if he's got a custom table for Warp Travel I promise I'll land on "crash-land into our D&D game."
A D1. It's 100% reliable and can always be counted on to produce the expected result. And to make it even better it would have twenty different sides, each with a different colour and a uniquely designed "1" on the face. So I'd be stylish and artsy too.
D12 because I like saying dodecahedron!

Ok, how about an
50 equal kite shaped sides
Just because I read about it online and it sounded very impressive.
If I were a die, I would be a Hit Location Die:
(Featuring teh nut shot.)
Dear "Tinklemeister" - aka Sound Dev(s):
Why do bats now sound like the crinkling and shuffling of parchment?
I'd be a D7 - just to weird everyone out.
Bartylomaos and Fwelcyr, of Orien's Forever Knights
Lag got you down? Do what I do and bring along a good book to read while playing DDO.
d6: it's a classic, and good looking woman blow on you in Las Vegas.
I like being versatile, so I'd have to be a d60 because it can emulate the d1, d2, d3, d4, d5, d6, d10, d12, d15, d20, and d30.
