New Player Raid Training – 2013

For at least the next month I’ll be running a bit of abbot
and maybe some other raids on Wednesday evenings.

We’ll do abbot puzzle familiarization starting at ~18:00 MST. (6 PM Mountain Time)

The actual abbot raid will start at ~18:30-19:00 MST. (enough time to get in a few puzzles)


No signups this time around, we’ll be doing a more free-form
approach for these runs. If no one is around that wants to
practice puzzles we’ll move straight to the abbot raid.

That's genious! Welcoming new players forming a group of people non guild related, very friendly for the casual player and the long time vet.

I'd be totally game to help any time Tobril, but I'm pretty sure that I'm horrible at DDO after a 6 month break.

Seriously though, I'll keep an eye out in Defense and if there is anything I can do to help just let me know. :)

Considering his mere presence makes loot droprates increase by ridiculous amounts, I say feeding off his scraps is good enough :P

Also, I've been advertising Titan runs in that channel. New players always welcome.

More good news everyone, i believe i have been suckered into being a helper (?? think that how the word helper used). I will cover all the deaths and crying like a little ***** so everyone else can learn.

I need to do more goggles. I've only done it a handful of times.

I'm totally cool in all the abbot puzzles (actually, I mess up ice too much...but I know exactly what I should be doing, I just have problems doing it sometimes) but I still want me queever :)

I would love to be there on my healer Turtley(Becuase I know off the top of my head she's flagged) irl permitting. :) I would love to actually learn puzzles and do more than scout, spam heal, and hope I'm in the right place for the inferno islands. *laughs at herself*

As always Tobril, I am willing to lend my advice (expertise?) to any of the trainings. Well, any raid besides Abbot. /vomit

I need to relearn roids, went in there last week after not running it in over a year and it was not pretty. So I will be on the look out for your LFMs.

No everyone learned that sometimes i fail at Left vs Right. Not everyone can be as special as I.

Excellent. So I can listen to the channel, and learn the abbot raid if I can get into a group..sweet! My in-game character is a wf arty hero lvl 16 named Nut. I usually just solo, but now that I am getting closer to legend and will be working on epic lvls afterwards, I would love to jump in on any of your raids. Experience is worth way more than loot anyday..teach a man to fish...;)
