Tread carefully my friend, and heed me warning. Pvp is not welcome here. Trouble may stir when considering such a topic in these here forums. Ye may be respectful of those with different beliefs, but Ye must maintain neutral in such inquiries. Take care, and if ye are to bring tidings of pvp, consider yerself warned.
Nah, just kidding. But pvp is not something most of us DDO players enjoy. It needs a LOT of work, and then again, since DDO is a pve game, pvp isnt even worth looking into imo. But if you enjoy it, have fun! Thats the whole point. :)
I suppose you're free to like it. Objectively, it's terrible, unbalanced, and basically equates to people waiting to gank whoever falls in the pit.
if there's a pvp area at least should be something like "time you must stay in the arena before you can attack/get attacked"
the are should be bigger, more variated, whatever
cap/max/reduce dc to allow players to survive lol
this way wouldn't become the best pvp in mmorpg, but at least could be called pvp in mmorpg, not sure if actually can be called even pvp, sure that can get compared to any other serious game
my fav pvp pit is the one in the rusty nail.
You are free to do that just don't expect to be in the majority
The Auction House is DDO's fiercest form of PvP.
In my objective opinion, when up against a player of the same level PVP is a great deal of fun and a great way to measure your toon's power and weaknesses, also, it is going up against a real person, who is often a lot smarter than the AI.
That is of course my objective opinion, not subjective as one might think, so those who disagree are simply mistaken about their facts.:p
