The Turbine Points FAQ - Gifting Giving, Points Cards, Favor Points and Referrals
Gift Giving and Payments on Friends' Accounts
If you plan on giving the gift of an upgrade, play time, store points or premium service, please do NOT add your card to your friend's account. I cannot stress this enough. This can often lead to confusion and/or problems. Your card will now be on your friend's account for future use, unless your friend adds a new card. This means, by definition, that you own the account (with your card on file) and you have to call for any account issues. This also means that subscription fees and Premium Services can be charged to your card while it is on file. Unfortunately, we've seen this lead to unpleasant situations (even between friends) in some cases.

DDO Turbine Point Card FAQ
Turbine Point Cards are prepaid cards that you can purchase at your local Wal-Mart, GameStop, Best Buy or Target retailers. When you redeem the code in the DDO, the points purchased will be added to your account.

VIP and Favor Points FAQ
VIPs receive their monthly Turbine Point grant within 48 hours of their monthly billing date, or within 48 hours of their monthly anniversary date if on a multi-month plan. Turbine Points earned with Favor in the game can take up to 48 hours to be applied. If you are not sure that you have received Turbine Points for VIP status or Favor earned, you can check your Statement History in the DDO Store.

DDO Referrals (Point)
DDO Referrals which earn you points should automatically process (as long as the referred account is correctly created). However, if you have any questions or concerns about the process which aren't answered in the Announcement, Terms of Service or FAQ, please submit a web inquiry to our Community Support department and they can research this. Be sure to include the account name or email of the friend you were trying to refer, the date of the referral, and the URL that you gave to your friend.
