---Quote (Originally by SirValentine)--- BUMP! With Quells being re-looked-at with U23, this is the perfect time to address this long-standing bug. ---End Quote--- Looks like it may have missed the Release Notes (we'll look at that), but Quells ought to be a lot smarter about who gets Intercession now.

Hello! We want to let you know about a change coming in Update 23 regarding an earlier bug with Saga XP gems, so that you have enough time to prepare for this fix. When Update 22 was released in June, there was a bug that allowed people to retain the XP Gems they received through completing Sagas. Update 22 Patch 3 arrived early in August, and corrected this bug, but players who had already collected these gems in their inventory did not have the gems automatically be consumed. However, it is necessary to have these gems be automatically consumed, to promote the integrity of the game, and to make sure that this bug gets properly cleaned up, so that players can have the proper expectation about the way Saga XP gems are supposed to work. When Update 23 is released, all remaining Saga XP gems will be automatically consumed when the character with the gems in their inventory first logs into the game. If you don’t want to have your Saga XP gems automatically consumed when you first log in, consume the gems between now and the release of Update 23. Thank you!
Greetings! We're hard at work getting Update 23 ready, and wanted to take a minute to give you a sneak peek at a bit of the story line you'll encounter when entering the Epic Orchard of the Macabre... As you may know, we're bringing a new story to the Orchard that touches on the events you've experienced in the Heroic version of this area, but also expands that story to include a famous resident of Eberron: Lady Vol! Here is a bit of concept art put together as we began work on Update 23, to give you some idea of who you'll be dealing with in the new raid: Image: https://www.ddo.com/sites/default/files/Vol_Concept_DDO_small.jpg (https://www.ddo.com/sites/default/files/Vol_Concept_DDO_1920.jpg) Years after the Black Abbot’s defeat, the Emerald Claw have returned to the Orchard of the Macabre. They arrived with large number of cultists and priests of the Blood of Vol. Many of the Black Abbot’s minions are also returning to the Orchard, and this time, they seem to be working together with the Emerald Claw. Though the Silver Flame are alarmed by these events, their attention is divided by an outbreak of lycanthropy in the area. At the Temple of Vol, the High Priest taunts to the players that all is going according to Vol’s plan, and that they were merely pawns when they defeated the Abbot before... We look forward to you seeing more of Vol and the Epic Orchard of the Macabre. We'll be previewing this new content in the coming weeks on Lamannia, and would love to read your feedback about it on the Lamannia forums (https://www.ddo.com/forums/forumdisplay.php/9-Lamannia-Server). Thanks! - PurpleFooz
There is a Rune Arm currently planned for the new Raid, and it's different from any existing Rune Arm. Should be interesting!
---Quote (Originally by -Zephyr-)--- U21 release notes : "Many spell-like abilities and supernatural abilities now correctly cannot be used in anti-magic fields." I believe this also changed those spell-like abilities and supernatural abilities to not work when raged. ---End Quote--- Sort of. Madstone Rage (along with some other kinds of Rage) prevents spellcasting, like anti-magic fields; things that won't work in Anti-Magic fields aren't going to work with those Rages that prevent spellcasting, generally speaking. ---Quote (Originally by Donny_b)--- Odd. I think it's bugged in entirety. I have a stalwart bard who gains absolutely nothing from it, even though i have no morale bonus to strength nor constitution. ---End Quote--- That's working as intended, Stalwart stance prevents all Rage effects outright (and should say so in the ability's description).
It's possibly a bit out of date, but you might enjoy: https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/302802-The-Lifeguard-A-Swimcleric-build

It does require the first Single Weapon Fighting feat. There's no way to benefit from Perfect Single Weapon Fighting without it, since you wouldn't meet the requirement: "While Single Weapon Fighting, ..."

Interesting builds! ---Quote (Originally by John_Rove)--- Well, time to put these builds to the test. Starting a new static group that will be using the builds, I get to play the paladin. (Even though the idea of an Undead Paladin seems ludicrous to me.) ---End Quote--- Don't hate (yourself). ;)
Have fun tonight, everyone!

Spell lighting effects tended to interfere with other lighting effects in many places. We don't feel that casting Magic Missile should turn off the lighting in the dungeon around you (including other players). It also had significant impacts on performance.

We are considering longer range plans for a new Favored Soul enhancement tree, but that is not likely to be very Soon.
Some of this is under discussion with the Player's Council right now.
