This free download of Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach is
for users who have a 10-Day Free Trial account, those do not have a
DVD-ROM drive available, or anyone that wants to download the DDO
client onto a computer.
Both standard-resolution and high-resolution versions of this download are available to choose from in Step One.
Before you begin downloading Dungeons & Dragons Online:
Stormreach, please make sure that you meet the Minimum System
Requirements.
Minimum System Requirements:
Processor: P4 1.6 GHz or AMD equivalent with SSE
Memory512 MB RAM
GraphicsCard 64 MB Hardware T&L -compatible video card
NetworkConnection 56.6 K modem
SoftwareWindows XP, DIrectX 9
DiscSpace 3GB, 5GB for high resolution
Recommended System Requirements:
Processor P4 3.0GHz or AMD equivalent with SSE
Memory 1GB RAM
Graphics Card GeForce FX or better with 128MB of memory
Network Connection Cable Modem or DSL connection
Software Windows XP, DirectX 9
Disc Space 3GB 5GB for high resolution
If you are running below any of these requirements, you may encounter graphical issues or poor overall performance.
To download the DDO client using the GetRightToGo download manager, please follow the instructions below:
1. For the standard-resolution version, click HERE. For the high-resolution version, click HERE.
When the file download dialog box launches, click Save. Save the Application onto your Desktop (if using XP).
2. Once the .exe has completed downloading, double-click on the icon named DDO-US-M5.0-Downloader-StandardRes.exe on your desktop.

3. After completing Step 2, the following will appear on your screen.*
Click 'Next' to start the downloader. This action will create a new
folder on your desktop called DDO. This is the location where the files
from our GetRightToGo download manager will be saved.

*If you do not see the above
screen due to a security file warning, please click on 'Run', and then
'Next', and continue to Step 4.
4. Once all of the extracting is completed, open up the DDO folder on your desktop.

Make sure that it contains the following files:
dndsetup-1.bin
dndsetup-2.bin
dndsetup-3.bin
dndsetup-4.bin
dndsetup.exe
5. Double-click the file named dndsetup.exe found in the DDO folder to begin installing DDO onto your computer.

Closing and restarting the downloader may overwrite files.
If
the DDO client downloader is closed for any reason and then restarted,
it may restart the download entirely and overwrite any files that have
already been downloaded. If this occurs, you will need to finish the
DDO client download and installation process again.
